Financial Stability Advocate

Part of the United Way Financial Stability Collaborative.  Advocacy services are provided onsite to assist individuals with immediate needs and to engage them in long term Financial Education. Consumers begin with the Goal Setting Process.  Personal support is offered by our Advocates to assist individuals with their current and long term financial needs, information is provided to link the consumer with available resources that may help them to overcome current financial difficulties. Classes are offered by the Learning Academy, also part of the Financial Stability Collaborative.  Consumers will learn credit card management, how to set up a personal budget, get their credit scores, complete resumes and prepare for job interviews. These and other classes will be offered free of charge throughout the year.    Contact Michelle or LaToya at 419-691-1429 for more information.

Help Me Grow

The Help Me Grow and learn program works with the families that have children birth to 3.  These programs provide assessments on child development,  parent support, parent education, service coordination and other needed services.  These services can be done at the families home or the East Toledo Family Center.  For more information please call (419) 691-4609.

Family Enrichment Center

The Family Enrichment Center is a collaborative of many community organizations.  It is committed to helping families by connecting them to the necessary programs or services that will benefit them the most.   For more information please call (419) 691-1429.

Parenting Center Program

The Parenting Center Program helps parents learn to practice, play and praise their child ages 0-5.  Drop in and play at the Heffner Early Childhood Center! For more information please call (419) 691-4609. This program also provides classes for parents of children 0-5yrs.

Parenting Wisely

Using the latest video game technology, Parenting Wisely teaches the parent to use assertive discipline using "I" statements along with contracting and active listening.  The program is so easy! No computer experience is necessary.   For more information please call (419) 691-1429.

Shots for Tots

Shots for Tots is held every 4th Tuesday of the month in the Navarre Park Family Health Center.

Supervised Visits

The East Toledo Family Center provides a comfortable, safe and clean environment for non custodial parents and their children to spend time together.  To set up an appointment or for more information please call (419) 691-1429.

Changes for Life

Changes for Life is a collaborative of community organizations.  The program is committed to helping teen parents and their families by connecting them to the necessary programs and/or services that will benefit them the most.  the agencies pull together to help families learn skills to improve their life by developing their own plan for success.

Shelter House Rentals

Rent the East Toledo Senior Center for a baby shower, graduation party or any other occasion.  It is available Friday evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday. Call the East Toledo Senior Activities Center today to schedule a rental. (419)691-2254

F.E.M.A.

The East Toledo Family Center provides East Toledo residents with emergency food when available.  Must bring proof of residence.

Community Policing

The East Toledo Family Center houses the East Toledo office of Community Policing division.  Volunteers are in the office to take calls and answer questions relating to community affairs in East Toledo.
