East Toledo Senior Center has Senior Softball Leagues, Year-Round Senior Volleyball, and Year-Round Senior Basketball.

Transportation

Daily transportation to and from the East Toledo Senior Activities Center, Grocery Shopping, Banking, Post Office, and Mall Shopping.

PASSPORT

The East Toledo Senior Activities provides transportation to those who qualify for the PASSPORT program. Transportation includes any medically necessary appointment and trips to the pharmacy. To see if you qualify, call the Area Office on Aging at (419) 382-0624 and ask for the PASSPORT Program.

Chore & Housecleaning

Chore services include lawn care, weeding, hedge trimming, leaf raking, and snow removal (including for those who head south for the winter). Housekeeping services include dusting, vacuuming, dishes, laundry, bathrooms, etc. The suggested voluntary contributiion for our Chore/Lawn Care and Housekeeping services is based on a sliding scale fee.

Minor Home Repair

The East Toledo Senior Activities Center, in conjunction with the Area Office on Aging provides minor home repair to Lucas County residents who qualify with little or no cost to the senior. The purpose of this program is to ensure that area seniors have a safe home to live in. All applicants must own the home in which they are living in that requires repairs and be current on their real estate taxes. If you or someone you know is in need of repairs not limited to but including windows, gutters, plumbing, furnace, railings, tubs, etc. call the Senior Center and ask for the Home Repair Coordinator at (419) 691-2254. You will be asked to fill out an application and provide proof of income and home ownership. You will be placed on a waiting list in order of emergent need.

Navarre Park Health Center

The NPHC is operated by Neighborhood Health Association. The Clinic is located in the lower section of the ETFC. Services offered include pediatrics, women’s health & adult primary care. For an appointment, call 419-696-1515 or CLICK HERE to visit their website.

HEAP

HEAP assists low income households inpaying their heating bills in the winter and summer months. The HEAP office is only open at ETFC from November 1 – March 31 and is by appointment only. Call 1-866-504-7392 to make an appointment.

Shelter House Rentals

Rent the East Toledo Activities Senior Center for a baby shower, graduation party or any other occasion. It is available Friday evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Times and fees are as follows:

Saturday or Sunday: 9am-5pm or 5:30pm-12am (Midnight)
Saturday or Sunday: All Day 9am-12am (Midnight)

Rental Rates*
9am-5pm: Regular Rate $125/Holiday Rate $175
5:30pm-12am: Regular Rate $125/Holiday Rate $175
All Day: Regular Rate $200/Holiday Rate $325

*Plus a $100 deposit that will be returned by a company check within 14-21 business days after your rental date and the inspection of hall for damages and cleanliness.
